Duane Cronin
FOUNDER
Duane Cronin is a developer and asset manager based out of the greater Cincinnati area. He has nearly 20 years of experience managing capital assets, beginning primarily in the derivative world. After around 10 years of owning cash-flow positive rental real estate in his personal portfolio, he began to invest the assets from his private investment fund into real estate.
Duane has applied extremely stringent risk management strategies he cultivated while profitably managing the volatile derivatives market to the real estate realm. The comparatively slow pace and lower leverage of real estate has allowed Duane to lead his various funds to extremely consistent returns over the last 7 years.
In addition to the consistent returns, DCM’s properties have been featured on a number of local home tours such as “Beyond the Curb” and have been selected as recipients of local development awards. Inc. magazine named Diversified Capital Management the 32nd fastest growing company in the Southeast region of their Inc. Regional Awards. The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce named Diversified Capital Management as a Winner in the Medium sized business category in their business impact awards 2023 for businesses “who are IMPACTING the Northern Kentucky Community through innovation, creativity, strong business practices and leadership.” These tours and awards are a testament to the quality of work Duane and his DCM team are capable of.
When not managing his construction crew or investment portfolio, you’re likely to find him engaged in some sort of sporting event. Be it downhill skiing, sand volleyball, instructing Porsche Club of America students on the racetrack, racing his own off-road Side by Side, softball or competing for the local World Champion Cincinnati Takeover flag football team.
Him and his wife are also self-professed beer snobs who pride themselves on finding the best and most sought-after craft beer in the World, such as Hill Farmstead Brewing in Vermont. They are parents to children Cruz 2 & Emme 7 months.
